Last day of January! I’ve noticed a lot of people complaining about how long January has been “this year”. Similarly, a lot of those same people seem to be looking forward to February – I can only assume that everybody else is excited for my birthday (I’m not, particularly).
After another couple of days of inertia – various reasons – today was a snow day and I had to quite literally drag the dog out the door under much duress. I think she’s still pissed off now, to be honest.
It still wasn’t the sticking type of snow, but it was fun to be out in it – well, for about 30 minutes and then I got too cold and I couldn’t stand the bad vibes I was getting from the hound any longer. Luckily I’d stayed close so I could scurry off home and throw some logs on the fire.
Today was also the last day that I had the Leica Q2 Monochrom, so it seemed appropriate to take it for one last outing. I’ve enjoyed using it, but I don’t think I’ll be investing in it any time soon.
Our beloved leaders have now deemed it permissible to meet a friend outside, so I’m hoping I might have some sustained human contact this week.
